Live cases
As part of the course in Social Entrepreneurship and Innovation, the students get to take part in a “live case”. This is an opportunity to create dialogue with external parties involved in social entrepreneurship and get a first hand perspective of the challenges they face. This creates an opportunity to put theories in relation to a practical situation and discuss ways forward based on the information presented by the guest entrepreneurs. It also provides an opportunity for students to advise the guest on possible action to ensure the sustainability of the organisation.
In the spring of 2011 representatives from Heart Rebels came to class to speak about their work with the organization. They presented many facts and details about the case along with some past and current challenges they faced.
