Sustainability Assessment Organizations:
Sweden Green Building Council is a nonprofit organization owned by its members, open to all companies and organizations in the Swedish construction and property sector. The association promotes green building and to develop and influence environmental and sustainability programs in the industry.
LEED, or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, is an internationally-recognized green building certification system.Developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) in March 2000, LEED provides building owners and operators with a framework for identifying and implementing practical and measurable green building design, construction, operations and maintenance solutions.
BREEAM is the world’s foremost environmental assessment method and rating system for buildings, with 200,000 buildings with certified BREEAM assessment ratings and over a million registered for assessment since it was first launched in 1990

For over a decade BAM has achieved a 100% record of obtaining a ‘Very Good’ or ‘Excellent’ ratings from the Building Research Establishment for their office buildings.

Municipal Agencies:
ISU – Institute for Sustainable Urban Development is a joint venture between The City of Malmö and Malmö University. The Institute deals with sustainability in its broad sense, which includes ecological, economical, social and cultural issues. The work comprises taking part in process of urban redevelopment projects in Malmö, and includes transfer of knowledge and experiences between researchers and practitioners.
Malmö Cleantech City ensures that environmental engineering prospers in Malmö. Through a unique collaboration between companies, universities and municipalities, we create a green cluster and develop cleantech-companies in Malmö. In the project, tangible business opportunities are born and prepared for innovative collaboration. At the same time, we strengthen Malmö City’s environmental profile and attractiveness for both people and companies.
