The first CCMA seminar will take place in Malmö on Friday 7th and Saturday 8th of April 2017. We will be in the K3 Studio 5th floor in the Niagara building (this room is a bigger space next door to our usual Glocal Classroom).

What is actor-network theory? How can it be a useful complement to in-depth analyses of media texts? In this seminar, we will outline actor-network theory, its main ideas and concepts, and talk about we use it in our research on art and governmentalisation. We would like this to be a discussion rather than a lecture, so questions are welcome at any time. Trigger warning: there will be no power-points.
